    The high school hosted their annual Industrial Arts Show recently. The projects ranged from beginner to advanced. This year projects included, a bed, corn hole boards, mirrors, coat rack, drawers and a table.     Twelve Hulett seniors graduated last Sunday when the 2023 commencement was held. Graduating were: Jessee Driskill, Koltin Gantz, McKenna Kromarek, Kagan Lawrence, Abby Nelson, Hunter Reilly, Sam Reilly, Kade Smith, Brighton Thibault, MJ Ulmer, Logan Westover and Ashlynn Wilson.     Crook County Farm Bureau Federation annually sponsors the Ag Books for Kids contest for K-5th grade students. A book related to agriculture is paired with resources to learn about a specific ag topic. The book selected this year, Popcorn Country, tells the story of America's favorite snack and how popcorn is planted, grown, and harvested.     The Kaiser Foundation has announced it has awarded ten $4000 scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors of Wyoming high schools. These scholarships may be renewed for an additional three years for those students who continue to meet academic standards.     The Hulett prom was held last Saturday at the Hulett High School. A Vegas theme was used in the gym, including palm trees, a big Vegas sign and even a limo.   • Homegrown beef served at lunch

    Paxton Pravecek can say he fed his fellow classmates last week when beef that he raised was used for their school lunch. Pravecek donated a beef that he bottle fed and eventually gave to the Hulett School. The donation was part of a program that was started in 2018 and has since had several donations of beef from local ranchers as well as donations for the processing.     The annual Poppy Poster Contest sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Post #80 teaches school children grades 1-12 about patriotism, veterans and service through art.     The University of Wyoming Collegiate Meat Judging team wrapped up a successful spring season with a first-place finish at Iowa State University Saturday, March 4.     Once again, the students of Crook County have outdone the state average with a graduation rate for the 2021-2022 school year of 90.6%. This places Crook County School District among the top 15 in the state. Overall, graduation rates in Wyoming have been statistically strong over the last decade, staying above 81% since 2014 according to the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE).
