Hulett Town Council

The Hulett Town Council met on Dec. 7, 2022 at 7 p.m. Present were Council Backen, Kennah and Mayor Parsons. Absent was Bears and Johnson.

Motion to approve the agenda, Kennah/Backen, mc.

Motion to approve minutes, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Kim Proctor and Peyton Proctor were present. Proctor had issues with snow removal on her street and having snow pushed so she has to go over it from her driveway. Also snow is pushed onto her property when the plow goes by. Mayor said he would talk to public works.

Randy Gill representing the school talked to council about a land swap. Town attorney laid out the process. Council is open the swap. Details will be worked out and Gill will go back to school board.

Mr. Palmer was present to address the warning received about junked vehicles. Discussion was held and Mayor said that he needs to get together with the Police Chief.

The clerk presented her reports, motion to approve, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Public works – PWD discussed the main water line that is running under the property where Crazy Woman Realty use to be located. The main runs under their garage and was discovered when the current owner wanted to move their meter. Research is needed about when the line was installed, the building permits, etc.

Motion to approve the extension of the rental agreement with ADI insurance for the house in the park, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Motion to allow fireworks after the parade of lights, Kennah/Backen, mc.

Motion to allow employees to take either Friday or Monday for the Christmas and New Year’s eve holiday, Kennah/Backen, mc.
