Candidates confirmed

Filing has now closed for this year’s primary election, with candidates now finalized for city, county, state and national seats.

Chip Neiman will stand again for his seat as State Representative for House District 01. He will be unopposed.

At the county level, one county commissioner seat with a four-year term will be voted on this year. Incumbent Kelly Dennis will be challenged by Dale T. Davis.
