Town holds election

Teacher Josh Willems brought over his class to check out the voting process in the town election. The Hulett municipal election was held last Tuesday with voters choosing two council people.

Running were incumbent Brian Kennah, Friel Lynn and Kelly Maher. Only 43 voted out of 154 registered voters.

The top vote-getters were Brian Kennah with 35 votes, Kelly Maher with 29 votes and Friel Lynn with 17 votes. The newly elected council people will be sworn into office at the June 5 town council meeting....
