Music competition

Hulett hosted the NE District Junior High music solo/ensemble festival recently. Students from Arvada/Clearmont, Tongue River, Kaycee, Wright, Twin Spruce, Sage Valley, Moorcroft, Upton, Hulett, Conestoga Elementary (Gillette) and Paintbrush Elementary (Gillette) were involved in approximately 200 performances for vocal, string and instrumental judges.

Susan Kostenbauer from Sundance Elementary and Todd Kahler served as two of the five judges. Hulett Booster Club provided refreshments.

Hulett students and staff worked the event all day assisting with various tasks. Hulett had 39 entries and received 32 superior and seven excellent ratings. Shown above are Hulett music students participating in the festival.
