The Hulett Town Council met on November 2, 2022 at 7 p.m. Present were Council Backen, Bears, Johnson and Mayor Parsons. Absent was Councilman Kennah.

Motion to approve the agenda with the addition of an executive session concerning personnel, Backen/Johnson, mc.

Motion to approve the minutes, Bears/Backen, mc.

Mr. Wolfensperger asked the council about asphalting to the edge of his property to the street. He asked if the town did road repairs on that street if they would do that portion of the driveway. Council said they cannot pave on private property.

Financial report. Bears gave report. Motion to approve, Bears/Backen, mc.

Police. Has been a busy three weeks. Several civil standbys.

Public works. Pravecek reported a leak in front of Patty Miller’s alo it appears there is a leak by the senior housing. That meter appears to be under the building and will need to be replaced and moved.

Motion to pay general bills, Backen/Bears, mc.

Motion to pay airport bills, Backen/Johnson, mc.

Open bids for Commercial property at Red Devil Drive Phase 3, There were no bids. The town will lower the minimum to $600,000 and will open bids on Dec. 7th.

2nd reading of Ordinance 7 Series 2022 prohibiting livestock in town limits, motion to approve, Backen/Bears, mc.

Chief Motley is still working on an amended animal license ordinance.

Another letter will be sent to the residents at 218 Pine Street concerning junked vehicles.

New Business: Randy Gill with the CC School district will be invited to the next meeting.

A building permit for Laura Kelly was presented. Motion was made to approve the permit pending Motley making sure the set backs are met, Backen/Johnson, mc.
