Chamber

The Hulett chamber met at Badger Horse Products on May 24 at 5:30 p.m. Attending were: Lily Altaffer, Melissa Bears, Bill Motley, Kim Somervold, Connie Hippen, Jim Traversie and Korina Ike.

April minutes and financial information off bank balance of $7,054.73 were approved. Bills: Visitor’s guide is complete. Chamber owes Sagebrush $2,644.42 and the post office $48 for 1 year box rental. Bears made motion to pay both, Motley seconded, motion carried.

Old Business: Parade application for Sat. June 11th are out and available for pickup. Discussion on other activities for that weekend including goat roping, and lions club fondue in the town park.

New Business: Businesses of the month will be 307 Auto Sales, Hulett Museum and Badger Horse. Business bingo was talked about again. Everyone agrees sounds fun and will get people into businesses. Photo contest for website and Facebook also discussed.

Motley asked for donation to street dance. Members agreed that they will consider it after getting bills paid and checkbook numbers updated.

Next meeting will be June 8th, location to be announced.
