Kennah named teacher of the year

Mrs. Lila Kennah was recently nominated by her colleagues for teacher of the year and her application was forwarded to Crook County School District for consideration.

A committee reviewed all applications using a rubric in order to make the selection.

District Sperintendent Mark Broderson recently notified Mrs. Kennah of her selection. The announcement will be officially made in August, once school begins.

Mrs. Kennah has been a positive role model for staff and students in the district for several years. The board and administration noted they appreciate her commitment to the students of Crook County. 

In addition to the recognition, Kennah received a CCSD bag, gift certificate and $2,000 to attend a national conference of her choice.
