    Janice C. (Sann) Smith passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the age of 86 from extended medical conditions after suffering a stroke. She grew up in San Diego, California with fond memories of time spent at the beach. She was proud to be the first in her family to graduate high school and attend college. Janice was an avid hand quilter and greatly enjoyed corresponding with pen pals across the country.
