    The commencement ceremonies for the Hulett graduating class of 2022 were held on May 22 at 4 p.m. at the Hulett High School gym. Nineteen seniors were honored. The Hulett band played Pomp and Circumstance followed by a welcome by Principal Wiegel. Salutatorian Echo Sowers gave her speech followed by Valedictorian Lane Jay.   • Wyoming Reads celebrates literacy with area first graders

    Crook County first graders from Hulett, Moorcroft and Sundance made their annual trek, after a two-year break, to Devils Tower National Monument for the 17th annual Wyoming Reads celebration in Crook County.     Brian Alan Dirks took the road to heaven May 19, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. He died peacefully, with his wife at his side, under the kind and compassionate care given in the ICU at Sanford Hospital. He asked for and was blessed to be able to see and talk to his kids one last time before closing his eyes on his journey. How do you sum up a life? You really can't in a few paragraphs.
