Rep. Chip Neiman held a town hall meeting last Tuesday at the Greater Hulett Community Center. Nearly 30 residents attended the three-hour session. Neiman talked about a number of issues facing Wyoming. Some of the topics discussed were increasing fuel tax, funding of schools and runoff elections. The Wyoming Public Service Commission (PSC) has granted permission for Powder River Energy (PRECorp) to increase its Cost of Power Adjustment (COPA) by $1,386,882 per annum to reflect a change in wholesale power costs. Fern Ilene (Cordingly) Blakeman, of Sundance, Wyoming, passed away at Crook County Long Term Care on February 12, 2022. Fern was born November 5, 1934, to Vernie and Florence Cordingly in Upton, Wyoming. She was the eighth of nine children. Man killed in wreck near Laramie CHEYENNE (WNE) — Speed is being investigated as the possible cause of a fatal crash that occurred Friday morning around milepost 326 on Interstate 80 east of Laramie.
